Pricing

Price will vary depending on the following:

  • Breed and size
  • Coat type and condition
  • Time since the last professional groom
  • Your dogs' behaviour and disposition

Final cost will depend on the complexity of the groom and how long it takes to achieve the desired look. Cost can differ from time to time depending on how long it has been since your last appointment.

De-matting

At Dog Hub we consider humanity over vanity and will therefore never de-mat a dog if it will cause pain or discomfort. Clipping off a matted coat means we have to work close to the skin with a clipper blade and on release of the matts from the body there can often be signs of trauma or irritation of the skin. We will therefore always give you grooming advice on how to best look after your dog's coat and what products to use to prevent matting in the first place. You can read all about matting here.

A release form will have to be signed prior to grooming a matted dog.

Vaccinations and Flea treatment

All dogs are required to have their vaccinations and their flea / parasite treatments up to date before visiting us. Please bring proof of these or titre test with you on your first visit.

If fleas are found on your dog, the grooming appointment will end and you will be asked to collect your dog. We will rebook your grooming appointment after your dog has been treated for fleas by a veterinarian (proof will be required).

Cancellation Policy

Your appointments are very important to us. We understand that sometimes unexpected delays can occur resulting in rescheduling.  If you need to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24 hour notice.

Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 24 hours will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be equal to a fee of the booked service (e.g. full groom, wash & dry etc.)
